Clayton Watts has always been an entertainer, with a personality as big as his smile! Clayton has a unique fascination with magic and is the child who has never grown up. This enables him to form a bond with audiences of all ages and to relate his act to any age group.

Clayton originates from Llanelli, South Wales; however his entertainment career has taken him far and wide. He is a product of his own experience; here are some of the relevant bits…

Clayton has been entertaining since 1999 and has always managed to please his given audience. He began his career working at Pontins Brean Sands, Somerset, in the Children’s Club as part of the Children’s entertainment team. During this time Clayton dabbled with being a clown and also began to use a few simple magic tricks, he was a magician!

Clayton Watts was on his way to carving out his career path in entertainment. His next position was working in the Children’s Club within Viva Hotels & Resorts, Mallorca from 2002. During this time Clayton took part in several shows each week as part of the regular entertainment team, he appeared in the weekly panto, Cinderella. Clayton also dressed in character costume as part of the children’s entertainment. He got involved in teaching drama within the children’s clubs, resulting in some successful children’s productions. This resort was populated by several nationalities; working with children aged 3 – 11 years meant that Clayton overcame the language barrier with the universal language of "laughter and fun".

In 2003 Clayton moved to work for Flamingo Land, Yorkshire. Here he was a Children’s Entertainer and earnt his name “Crazy Clayton!” This was a label that Clayton was given by the rest of the Entertainment team, and it was so appropriate that it has stuck!

Throughout the season, as part of the haunted house team, Clayton entertained children of all ages. He sang in the music show, and was part of the ‘light and sound’ show. It was during this period that Clayton further experimented with magic and expanded his outrageous party games.

Then Clayton became the Children’s Entertainer on a Cruise Ship sailing on the Mediterranean. This unique experience enabled Clayton to work with the children on board as a part of the Childrens Entertainment Team. He produced and directed amateur shows, such as Oliver, with the children performing for their parents. Crazy Clayton also became a magician and gave his own magic shows.

Crazy Clayton enjoyed his sailing experiences and gained many magic tricks to add to his repertoire. Crazy Clayton developed his pirate character “Captain Crazy” whilst sailing the seas, he also was a DJ on occasion and MC whenever the need arose.

Crazy Clayton joined the Children’s Teams at Bunn Leisure in Selsey on the south coast. This experience enabled Crazy to perfect himself and he is now a “Magician” in his own right.

His mentor Timmy Taylor ably assisted his launch and Crazy used magic tricks to amaze and astound at every opportunity. However his Crazy antics did not stop with magic. He was a dame in the weekly pantomime and took part in every aspect of the entertainment team. Where Crazy really shone was in his time entertaining the children in the children’s room. He kept everyone smiling and his sheer energy and craziness always ensured that everyone knew his name.

In 2005 Crazy Clayton decided to become a full time Children’s Entertainer in his own right. Through an agency on the south coast Crazy has worked consistently both as a regular spot at a holiday park and also at a variety of parties and events. With his unique blend of magic and mayhem Crazy Clayton gets every event off to a truly chaotic start. Crazy offers amazing magic, party games, dances and comedy.
